Chapulines

Chapulines, or grasshoppers, are considered a delicacy in the Mexican state of Oaxaca.

Visitors to the region can find them in a multitude of dishes, even covered in chocolate for desert, but if you truly want to live as the Oaxacans have for millennia, you'll have to have them straight up fried with just a little salt. A little Tequila to wash it down can't hurt either!!!!!
